There comes a critical time in every growers life where they need to figure out how to make weed brownies.  Sure, you may have done it before it the past, but outcomes often vary.  If you are looking to make weed brownies the best possible way, look no further than this article.

There are many reasons some people prefer marijuana edibles to smoking.  For one, it can be enjoyed discreetly in places where smoking is not allowed.  Another benefit of edibles is giving your lungs a rest from the effects of smoke.  Many patients also prefer edibles for the high that results which is often stated to be longer lasting with a more powerful body effect.

The key to cooking with medical marijuana is always the butter.  Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is the part of marijuana that leads to psychoactive effects.  As you know, THC can be used by smoking or vaporizing the plant, or by cooking it.  However, you cannot cook THC into just anything.  THC requires lipids (fats) or alcohol to become solvent.  In summary, when you’re cooking, you need fat to bond the THC to.  Hence butter is a one of the best options.

Weed Brownie Ingredients:

6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
¼ cup weed butter
1 cup sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla
¼ teaspoon salt
⅓ cup flour
2 eggs

Weed Brownie Recipe:

1. Preheat oven to 325F degrees.

2. Mix ingredients: Add melted weed butter and unsweetened cocoa powder in a bowl and then add remaining ingredients.  Mix thoroughly.

3. Pour into 8×8 glass baking pan.  Baking sheet should be coated with Crisco or butter and a few tablespoons of flour to keep brownies from sticking to dish.  Pour batter in.

4. Bake for 35-40 minutes, using a toothpick to check that they have been cooked through fully.

Once they are cooked through, cut and serve!  Be sure to test in a small amount first and remember that it can take between 20 minutes and an hour before you will start feeling the effects.

Warning: Just because you are a seasoned smoker does not mean you will have a high tolerance to edibles.  Start small and adjust the amount you consume to the desired effects you are looking for.
